The Plan You Were Promised
Built for the Life You're Actually Living

You've worked too long to wonder if your money will last. We build the plan, manage the portfolio, and answer the phone — even when markets don't.

Three Generations of Doing the Right Thing
Breiter Wealth Management is named for Harold Breiter — a WWII veteran who ran a small-business lending operation for decades, serving manufacturers the big banks wouldn't touch. When the S&L crisis hit and his bank called every loan overnight, Harold chose personal bankruptcy rather than pass the burden to his clients.
That story — doing right by people, even at personal cost — is the foundation of everything we do.Joshua E. Reesman · Certified Financial Fiduciary® · National Social Security Advisor®

Samuel Breiter & Co.

Founded by Josh's great-grandfather, the firm provided secured loans to small manufacturers. In 1958, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit upheld the firm's lending practices — part of the legal foundation for what we now call private credit.

Harold Breiter's Stewardship

Harold continued his father's legacy, serving small businesses for decades. When crisis struck, he chose his clients over his own financial security.

Three advisers. Three different relationships.
Prospective clients should compare us with at least one of two other categories of adviser before they decide. Educated consumers make better decisions — and better long-term clients. So we'll name the differences out loud.

Modern Tools, Timeless Values
The financial services industry runs on powerful planning software. But that software is built for the masses — the 80% of cases that fit a template. The customized scenarios real clients actually face are where it falls short. That's where we live.

AI-Powered Planning Dashboards

Every client gets an interactive financial dashboard built around your situation, not a template, that lives in your client portal. Model your retirement income, stress-test your portfolio, and see how each decision moves the plan. We create the tools, walk you through them, and leave them with you. Planning is a team effort, not a one-off meeting deliverable.

When the Template Doesn't Fit

Are you considering a real-estate purchase to take advantage of OBBBA's reinstated accelerated depreciation?

We model the tax impact alongside your full picture — not as a one-off calculator divorced from the rest of your plan.

Are you evaluating a private investment opportunity?

We stress-test the offering against your liquidity, your tax situation, and your concentration risk before you commit capital.

Are you giving through a Donor Advised Fund or another charitable vehicle?

We coordinate donation timing, asset selection, and bunching strategy with your broader tax plan — not in isolation.

Do you have a trust situation more complex than a basic Revocable Living Trust?

GRAT, SLAT, ILIT, CRT — we work alongside your estate attorney to model the planning implications inside your full plan.

Are you selling a business and weighing the most tax-efficient exit?

We coordinate with your CPA and attorney to evaluate installment sales, charitable trusts, opportunity-zone reinvestment, and the rest of the toolkit.

Are you holding a concentrated stock position from an employer or a pre-IPO grant?

We model unwinding strategies that balance tax exposure, market timing, and your broader goals.

Don't Need the Full Relationship?
Plenty of households see the value in professional planning without wanting — or needing — a full advisory relationship. Three ways we can still work together.
